Lucas Piazon was a midfielder or forward who was at Fulham on loan from Chelsea for both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 season. He was the first Brazilian to have played for the club & has represented his country up to U23 level.

Career

Fulham (2016-2018)

Lucas' loan deal was completed on transfer deadline day on 31 August 2016, with him staying at Craven Cottage until 15 January 2017. After a good start to his Fulham career, Lucas became an important part of the Whites' midfield, particularly after the absent Floyd Ayité and Neeskens Kebano, lost to the African Cup of Nations in 2017. It was announced on 17 January 2017 that his loan had been extended until the end of the season.

After a successful season with Fulham, Lucas signed another loan deal which would see him stay at the club for 2017-18. He was unlucky to suffer a broken leg in only the second league match of the campaign which would see him miss half of the season until his return at Christmas. Upon his return, he helped the club maintain a remarkable record 23 league matches unbeaten which ended on a high with promotion to the Premier League via the Play-off Final.
