Larnell Cole was at Fulham from 2014 until 2017. A right winger who was once considered a great prospect at Man Utd he was signed on deadline day in January 2014 from them along with fellow teammate Ryan Tunnicliffe. After only making a single appearance in over three years, he was released at the end of his contract.
Larnell joined Fulham on 31 January 2014 and linked up again with Meulensteen after the pair had previously worked together at Manchester United, and made his debut shortly after on 9 February against his former club at Old Trafford. He came on to replace William Kvist in the 80th minute but saw little action. After only playing ten minutes of first team football, Meulensteen was sacked not long after his signing, with Felix Magath taking charge. Larnell did not appear to feature in his plans for the remainder of the campaign and he was loaned out to MK Dons for the rest of the season on 25 February 2014.
As pre-season began for the upcoming 2014-15 season, Larnell did not feature in any of the training camps in either Scotland or Austria, and was not given a squad number. It transpired that he was suffering with injury all throughout the season and only managed three matches for the U21 squad. After spending 2015-16 pre-season with the first team, Larnell was loaned out to Shrewsbury Town for an initial 6 months, which was then extended into a full season. Upon his return to the club, new manager Slaviša Jokanović decided he would not fit into his plans and once more he was loaned out, this time to Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the start of 2016-17.
He was released at the expiration of his contract in July 2017.
