Eddie Johnson was a striker, formerly of Fulham. He was signed by Roy Hodgson in January 2008 due to a lack of forwards in the first team squad. His time at Craven Cottage was unsuccessful, and he never found the net for the first team but gained a cult status among the Fulham fans. Despite this, he has enjoyed a succesful international career for the United States as well as playing club football in the MLS.
